A new experience for me – needing to do some period research on one of my stories! While writing “Dress Off 8: Hotpants in Helsinki”, the back story for the Helsinki Archives clearly needed some fleshing out. So over the past month I’ve been having fun sketching out and beginning to add some bones to an ENF story set in the late 1920s.
History of the late 19th and early 20th centuries has always been a bit of an interest for me, especially as post-World War One, society especially in the United States and Europe changed dramatically. I’m looking forward to bringing a taste of 1920s to my ongoing series.
Dress Off 8, 9 & 10 will all release over the next six weeks, concluding our current arc – as Winter settles in down here in New Zealand.
After that, keep an eye out for a somewhat dramatic change in time period!
